Quick Start Instructions

To start your Cricket service, just follow these easy instructions:

1. Charge your battery overnight.
2. Read these instructions and have a pen ready before you call to set up service.
3. If you have signed up for Cricket service, a valid Social Security or Driver's License Number will be required to activate your Cricket phone.  Please have this information ready when you call to activate your Cricket phone.
4. Once your battery is charged, call 1-800-CRICKET from a different phone.
5. A Cricket representative will give you your new Cricket phone number.  Please write this number down for future reference.
6. Program your Cricket phone number into your Cricket phone using the instructions on the following page.

Programming your Cricket phone

1. Turn on your phone with the red power/end button
2. Press End to clear the "Initial programming needed" message
3. From the Main Screen, enter 111111 (1 six times)
4. Press the Options soft key
5. Press the up button three times to highlight "Programming", and press OK
6. Press the down button once to highlight "Programming", and press OK
7. You will see "Enter Security Code:"
8. Enter 333333 (3 six times)
9. You will see "Srvc Options"
10. Press the down button once, then press OK to select MIN
11. Press and hold the BACK button for 2 seconds to remove the existing number
12. Enter your new Cricket phone number
13. Press the OK button
14. If a different directory number needs to be programmed
    1. Press the down button twice, then press OK to select MDN
    2. Press and hold the back button for 2 seconds to remove the existing number
    3. Enter the 10-digit directory number
    4. Press OK
15. Press the red end/power button
16. Programming completed.  Your phone will reset.
